Quick Steps
- Restart your laptop (clears memory + frozen apps).
- Close unused apps in Task Manager.
- Check storage and remove large files if almost full.
- Update Windows (performance fixes + patches).
- Restart again and try your apps.
What You'll Need
Your Windows laptop
- Compatible charger
-
Wi-Fi connection
Step 1: Restart Your Laptop
A simple restart is one of the most effective ways to fix freezing or slow performance. This clears stuck apps and frees up system memory.
Step 2: Close Unneeded Apps
Having too many apps open can slow everything down. Use Task Manager to close anything you don't need.
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
- Look for apps using high CPU or Memory.
- Select the app > click End task.
