Here are a few quick and easy ways to capture your screen:
📸 Option A: Full-screen snapshot to the Clipboard
Press PrtScn (or Fn + PrtScn on some laptops).
Open a program where you’d like the image (e.g., Paint, Word, or Email).
Paste with Ctrl + V.
Save your document if needed.
📸 Option B: Capture just the current window
Click the window you want to capture.
Press Alt + PrtScn (or Fn + Alt + PrtScn on some laptops).
Open your program (Paint, Word, or Email).
Paste with Ctrl + V.
Save your document if needed.
📸 Option C: Quick screenshot that auto-saves
Open what you’d like to capture on your screen.
Press Windows logo key + PrtScn (on some laptops you may need Fn + Windows + PrtScn).
Your screen will dim briefly.

Find the image in Pictures → Screenshots (saved as PNG).
2.) Want to capture part of the screen? Use Snipping Tool.
Press Windows + Shift + S to open the snipping toolbar.

Choose a mode:
Rectangular – drag to select an area
Freeform – draw around what you want
Window – click a specific window
Full screen – capture everything
After snipping, click the thumbnail that appears to annotate, crop, or save.

Select Save to store it, or Copy to put it on the clipboard.
If you copy, open your program of choice and paste with Ctrl + V.
Don’t forget to save your document if needed.
✨ Pro tip: To add a delay (e.g., 3 or 5 seconds), open Start → Snipping Tool, click the arrow next to New, select a delay, then click New.
