What’s Happening:
Your phone, tablet, or laptop doesn’t show the hotspot’s name in the list of Wi-Fi networks.
Why This Happens:
- Wi-Fi might be turned off on the hotspot.
- The screen might be asleep.
- The hotspot might need a reset.
Step-by-Step Fix:
Step 1: Wake Up the Hotspot
- Press the power button once to wake the screen.
- Wait 5–10 seconds for the screen to fully light up.
Step 2: Check if Wi-Fi is Turned On
- Use the navigation buttons on the side (arrows or circle).
- Find the screen that says Wi-Fi ON or OFF.
- If it says Wi-Fi OFF:
- Press the center/select button or follow on-screen instructions to turn it ON.
Step 3: Restart the Hotspot
- Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
- Wait another 10 seconds.
- Press the power button again to turn it on.
Step 4: Factory Reset
- Locate the small reset hole (usually on the side or bottom).
- Insert a paperclip or pin and press inside the hole.
- Hold for 15–20 seconds until the device restarts.
