What’s Happening:
Your phone or computer connects to the hotspot, but websites won’t load, videos won’t play, or apps say “no internet.”
Why This Happens:
The hotspot may not have a signal from the carrier
You may have run out of data.
The hotspot might be temporarily frozen.
Step-by-Step Fix:
Step 1: Check the Signal Bars
Press the power button once to wake the screen.
-
Look at the top of the screen for signal bars (like a cell phone).
📶 4 or 5 bars = great signal.
📶 2 or 3 bars = okay.
📶 0 or 1 bar = poor signal → internet won’t work properly.
If the signal is low (0–1 bars):
Move the device closer to a window.
-
Avoid putting it in:
Closets
Drawers
Near thick walls or metal
Try a higher location, like a shelf or the second floor.
Step 2: Restart the Hotspot
Press and hold the power button until it shuts off (about 5 seconds).
Wait 10 seconds.
Press and hold the power button again to turn it back on.
Let it fully reboot (this takes about 30 seconds).
Step 3: Restart Your Phone or Computer
Power off your phone or computer.
Wait 10 seconds.
Turn it back on and reconnect to the hotspot Wi-Fi.
Step 4: Check if You Ran Out of Data
