What’s Happening:
You press the power button and nothing shows on the screen — it looks completely dead.
Why This Happens:
- The battery might be empty.
- The charger or cable might not be working.
- The device may need to be reset.
Step-by-Step Fix:
Step 1: Charge It (Even if It Looks Dead)
- Plug in the hotspot using the original cable and wall adapter.
- Make sure it’s plugged into a working wall outlet (not a power strip, if possible).
- Leave it alone to charge for at least 30–60 minutes.
TIP: After 5–10 minutes, tap the power button. You should see:
- A battery icon
- A light or the screen turning on
Step 2: Try Another Charger
Use a USB-C charger from a phone or tablet (same type).
-
Try plugging into:
A different wall outlet
A computer USB port (slower charging, but may work)
Step 3: Do a Force Restart
Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
Wait another 10 seconds.
-
Press the power button again to turn it on.

You can also try a hard reset using the button on the back of the hotspot if holding the power button doesn't work.
Locate the small reset hole (usually on the side or bottom).
Insert a paperclip or pin and press inside the hole.
Hold for 15–20 seconds until the device restarts.
