How to Set Up Your Campus Laptop
Follow these steps to get started with your new Campus-provided Chromebook laptop.
New Campus students are qualify are provided a laptop to attend classes and complete assignments. Campus provides Chromebooks to Business Administration students from various manufacturers, depending on availability. While each Chromebook may look different, they all function the same way.
Note: Students enrolled in the Associate of Information Technology program typically receive a Windows laptop. If you received a Windows laptop and need help with setup, click here for Windows setup instructions.
The laptop remains property of Campus until you complete your program. If you choose to withdraw, it must be returned within 10 days. Details are in the Student Technology Agreement, which is part of your Enrollment Agreement. All laptops are managed by the Campus at all times, so some activities, software, or websites might be restricted.
Laptop Set-Up — First Time Logging In
Follow the steps below to set up your Chromebook for the first time.
1. Turn on the Chromebook by pressing the power key at the top-right corner of your keyboard.
2. When it powers on, you’ll see “Welcome to your Chromebook.” Click Get started in the bottom-left corner of the screen to continue.
3. You’ll be prompted to connect to a network. After connecting, click Next to continue.
• a. You may connect to your home Wi-Fi or to your Campus hotspot network. If you need help connecting to your hotspot, see the Hotspot Set-Up article.
4. A message will appear that says “Enterprise enrollment complete.” Click Done to move on to the final step.
5. Enter your Campus email address and click Next. Then enter the password you created for your Campus email and click Next again. You’re all set — welcome to your new Chromebook!
• Note: You should have received a welcome email in your personal inbox containing your Campus email invitation. You must set your Campus email password before you can log in to your Chromebook.
Reminder: Keep your Chromebook charged and connected to a stable network. Always sign in with your Campus email address to access your classes and assignments.
