1. In the left side panel, identify the classes/groups section.
2. Choose the class for which you'd like to ask a question in. This will take you directly to the Class feed for that class.
3. In the ‘Class feed’ panel, click “New post” to open a modal where you can ask a question, create a poll, or post a note.
4. The panel defaults to a “Question” type post. If you have a different post type selected, you can just click on the dropdown on the top right of the modal and select “Question” from the dropdown options.
5. Click “Select category” to ask a question in relation to a particular assignment, quiz, or exam – or just to ask a general question. Your professor creates these categories, so note that these categories can be different in each class.
6. Type your question where it says “Write a question summary” and any specific details about the question where it says “Write the details about your complex question.”
7. When you’re ready to publish your post, click the “Post to everyone” button to post the question. You can also click the drop down arrow to select the “Post to instructors & TAs” to post only to your professor and TAs.
If you’d like to post your question anonymously, click the “Post anonymously” toggle on the bottom left of the page before following the instructions above.
